MOTO AMERICA
LIQUI MOLY JUNIOR CUP 2020
ROUND 2 – ROAD AMERICA
Great weekend racing at Road America. Started 12th on the grid and finished 11th in the 1st race, and 7th in 2nd race missing out on 6th by a hair.
New bike, new team and I really gelled and got straight to work. A big thanks too Chris from Cycletune also @nobi Iso.
ROUND 3 – ROAD ATLANTA
MotoAmerica round 3 Liqui Moly Junior Cup at Road Atlanta.
P12 on the grid to P5. Hard fought battle to get there but we got stuck in.
Sunday’s race was another battle between seven of us! Made for another close race, finishing in 7th. Looking forward to round 4 Pittsburgh.
ROUND 4 – PITSBURGH INTERNATIONAL RACE COMPLEX
coming soon
ROUND 5 – THE RIDGE
Great weekend so far at the Ridge Motorsports Park. I qualified P5 on Saturday putting me on the second row and ended with a finish of P7. I had a great start but I struggled with the rear end grip in the fast corners. I tried to stay with the top 4 but I just didn’t have the confidence and pace.
I finished p7 again as I unfortunately did not get the start that I wanted. However, I was in the battle for p-5 straight away. In the last few laps I was hunting down p-5 and 4 but a few mistakes led me to having to defend p6. That then led me to unfortunately make contact with another rider into turn 13 on the last lap with my end result of p7.
Overall a very good weekend and I can’t wait for New Jersey Motorsports Park – NJMP round 6.
ROUND 6 – NEW JERSY MOTORSPORTS PARK
Great weekends racing at @njmotorsportspark
Race 1: P6
It was a battle to the end but we came out on top
Race 2: p5
Another great battle learnt a lot this race and I can’t wait what @barbermotorpark has to offer
Overall very good weekend my best weekend yet couldn’t be possible with out all the people that support me
ROUND 7 – BARBER MOTORSPORTS PARK
Race 1 : P4!!!
Another great day of racing with a P6 race 2.
Made good progression over weekend, much closer to top 3!
This now moves me from P10 to P7 in the Liqui moly Jnr Cup Championship.
Looking forward to the Brickyard Indianapolis Motor Speedway Oct 9/10/11. No junior cup riders have been here before so will be a level playing field. Training hard, and maintaining my fitness for Indi.
ROUND 8 – THE BRICKYARD
A mixed weekend after struggling with set up in race 1 which resulted in a P9 finish. Made some changes for race 2 and felt better on the bike and was able to get a P6 in an 8 rider battle for 5th.
ROUND 9 – WEATHERTECH RACEWAY LAGUNA SECA
My weekend at @weathertechraceway went very well
The @bartconracing Kawasaki ninja 400
was a new bike to me so i had a lot of input into the bike.
mechanic mike and @dustinapgar helped me out tremendously and we never made a wrong change it was always positive
FP1: P7
the bike felt very different from the previous time i rode at @indianapolismotorspeedway
so it took some time to get used too.
Q1:P10
still making changes too the bike and getting set for Q2
Q2:P9
although the result didn’t show I felt like my times were close enough to the front for a good result in race 1.
Race 1: P8
despite dodging a crash out of turn 2 on the first lap i managed too finish first i’m my battle.
Race 2: P7
contact in the 2nd turn with new teammate @dominicdoyleracing25
set me back a little bit but i pulled through and chased down p6 from almost 10 seconds back.
